Office Hours

CELS Office Hours are monthly virtual professional learning sessions designed to support state and local education leaders, practitioners, and families in strengthening and implementing developmentally informed and evidence-based early learning strategies and  practices across the PK–3 continuum. Office Hours provide ongoing support, connection, and shared learning to help translate ideas into practice.

In 2026, Office Hours will feature the rollout of the CELS State of the Field Practice Briefs, which translate research into clear, actionable guidance to support implementation in classrooms, schools, and communities

Each session is led by CELS content leads and relevant subject-matter experts, and provides a structured space for participants to:

  • Learn about the evidence-based practices highlighted in the Practice Briefs

  • Engage in guided dialogue and reflection with peers and subject-matter experts

  • Identify concrete action steps to support implementation into their daily work.
